Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a part-time Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school setting. Serving students from Kindergarten through 6th grade, you'll collaborate with educators and families to foster student development and independence.

This position is structured for the 2026-2027 academic year, with responsibilities spread across two full days and one half day each week. You’ll dedicate the bulk of your time to providing direct therapy services, with a half day reserved for meetings and testing to ensure collaborative, comprehensive care.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in Delaware (DE)
  • School-based OT experience preferred; clinical pediatric experience also valued
  • Passion for working with elementary-age children (K-6th)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively partner with staff and families
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs within an educational environment
  • Willingness to participate in team meetings, assessments, and the educational planning process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to K-6th grade students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other service providers to support student IEP goals
  • Document therapy sessions and student progress using school-approved formats
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and related interdisciplinary sessions
  • Adapt therapy plans as needed to suit dynamic classroom settings
