School Occupational Therapist - Milton, Delaware

Exciting part-time opportunity available for an Occupational Therapy professional eager to support students in a dynamic K-6 environment for the 2026-2027 school year! This contract position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about making an impact with a growing caseload, providing much-needed services to students from the start of the school year through its end.

The role consists of 2 full days dedicated to hands-on therapy and direct services, saving an additional half-day for essential meetings and student testing needs each week. Flexibility is a key feature: while the role begins as an in-person position, there is potential to transition to virtual delivery by August if needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in Delaware preferred; Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) also considered
• Experience supporting K-6th grade populations, ideally in a school-based setting
• Strong collaboration, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to effectively balance direct student contact with testing and team meetings
• Availability to work 2.5 days per week on a consistent basis

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to K-6 students aligned with IEPs and school goals
• Participate in student evaluations, testing, and multidisciplinary meetings
• Contribute to IEP development and progress monitoring
• Communicate with staff, parents, and administrators to ensure comprehensive student care
• Adapt plans and strategies for in-person or virtual service models, as needed
