What we’re looking for:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license issued by the state of Minnesota
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices and interventions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other OTs to assess and organize caseloads before the school year begins
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, educators, and families
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset
  • Commitment to delivering therapeutic services on-site (remote/virtual services not permitted for this role)

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to elementary students with varying needs, primarily within a school setting
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to each student’s unique goals
  • Collaborate regularly with other OTs, special education teams, and teachers to strategize and divide caseloads efficiently
  • Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that empowers students to thrive academically and socially
