Occupational Therapist School Setting - Minneapolis, MN

This contract opportunity offers a chance to use your expertise in occupational therapy within a school setting, providing vital OT services during a leave of absence. The role is based near Minneapolis, MN, with a schedule of 20 hours per week across five days, from September 21st to January 4th (excluding winter break). There is a possibility that this assignment may be extended.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid credentials and previous experience delivering school-based occupational therapy.
• Ability to thrive in environments supporting students with significant special education needs, particularly those receiving Setting IV services.
• Successful completion of agency onboarding and district-specific background check requirements.
• Reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance.
• Positive references and standing from prior placements, especially if already credentialed.
• Commitment to working within school schedules and the defined assignment period.

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students according to IEP goals and school standards.
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and other professionals to address student needs.
• Develop and implement individualized strategies, adapt materials or environments for student success, and document progress.
• Engage with staff and families to ensure a supportive, inclusive environment for every student served.
