Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Occupational Therapists to support students in special education settings for the upcoming school year. Several contract positions are open, offering a fulfilling way to make a tangible difference in the lives of students who benefit from specialized occupational therapy services.
Open Positions:
- Leave of Absence (North): August 31 – November 13, 32 hours/week over 4 days, working with Setting IV special education students.
- Leave of Absence (South): September 21 – January 4 (excluding winter break), 40 hours/week over 5 days, serving Setting IV special education students.
- Full-Year Role: 20 hours/week across split locations in the south metro and Ann Bremmer Education Center; supporting a mix of special education placements, including Setting IV.
- Pending Opportunity: Full-time hours anticipated, final details to be confirmed.
Qualifications:
- Valid occupational therapy licensure in the state.
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience required.
- Successful completion of agency onboarding and district background check is necessary.
- Reliable transportation to multiple school sites.
- Candidates currently credentialed must have a record of good standing from prior placement.
- Commitment to adhering to the academic calendar and assigned schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services tailored to students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement therapy interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines.
- Support students in achieving developmental, academic, and adaptive functional goals.
