Elementary School Occupational Therapist - Mishawaka, Indiana

Ideal candidates possess:

• Indiana licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and colleagues
• Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans and monitor progress
• Enthusiasm for fostering independence in students with a wide range of needs
• Preference for onsite service delivery to ensure hands-on, interactive therapy

In this role, you will:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary-age students, tailored to their IEPs and specific needs
• Assess, plan, and document student progress, modifying interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Contribute professional insight during IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team consultations
• Offer strategies, accommodations, and modifications to maximize student participation in the classroom
