Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in Indiana (OTR/L)
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy is highly valued
  • Comfortable working with both elementary and secondary-aged students
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Commitment to fostering success for diverse learners
  • Availability for a full-time contract schedule onsite

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary and secondary school students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to develop tailored interventions
  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and measure progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all services provided, in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support each student’s educational goals
  • Offer strategies and training for classroom staff and families related to fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive techniques
