Bring your expertise in pediatric occupational therapy to a dynamic elementary school setting near Mishawaka, IN. We’re seeking a full-time OT who’s passionate about supporting the growth and development of elementary-aged students for the upcoming academic year, with a contract running from August 10, 2026 to May 28, 2027.
This rewarding opportunity will have you working onsite, collaborating with dedicated educators and families to help children overcome barriers, enhance their abilities, and succeed in the classroom and beyond. You’ll work closely with students, educators, and team members to deliver evidence-based OT services tailored to each child’s needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license for Indiana
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with elementary school-aged children
- Background in school-based or pediatric OT preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and follow individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Reliable, adaptable, and organized
- Comfortable working onsite within a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to elementary students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Support a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
