Bring your expertise as an OT to a collaborative school team and help enhance students’ participation, independence, and success across various school environments.
Qualifications:
- Active Certified California Occupational Therapist (CCA OT) license required
- Experience supporting children or adolescents in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Creative, solution-focused approach to problem-solving
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans to address motor, sensory, and functional needs
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to promote student success
- Document sessions, progress, and outcomes accurately and in compliance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and training as a valued team member
- Provide insight and support for classroom modifications and accommodations
