Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- School-based OT experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and best practices in a K-12 setting
- Ability to adapt interventions for diverse learning needs and age groups
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Proven organizational and time management skills to manage a full-time caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy to students with developmental, physical, or emotional challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support student goals and accommodations
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Educate staff and families on OT strategies and tools to support classroom participation and daily living skills
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices
