Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, goal setting, and data collection
- Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Adaptability and initiative in fostering inclusive educational experiences
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services onsite
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment programs to support educational participation
- Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation as required
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with school and legal standards
