Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and compliance requirements
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Comfortable working exclusively onsite

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess students’ functional abilities, develop intervention plans, and deliver therapeutic activities
  • Manage caseloads and maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to team members and families
  • Guide students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and life skills necessary for classroom participation
  • Provide training and resources for staff to facilitate successful student inclusion
  • Monitor progress, adapt interventions, and advocate for student needs within the school
