Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
  • Previous experience providing OT services in a school-based setting
  • Strong understanding of the unique needs of preschool-aged children
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other school professionals
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to preschool students, adapting interventions to promote participation and success in school routines
  • Complete thorough assessments, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress toward IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to develop and implement strategies that support student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert input and advocating for necessary accommodations and resources
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance, session notes, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
