In this full-time contract position, you’ll deliver high-quality occupational therapy services in a supportive and collaborative environment, working with a diverse student population and engaging with educators, families, and other professionals to promote every student's growth.

Your varied skills in school-based OT, home health, teletherapy, and healthcare will be vital as you assess, plan, and implement interventions tailored to meet students’ individual motor skill needs. As the sole OT in this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to influence the development of both fine and gross motor abilities, contributing significantly to students’ overall educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments and interventions to support fine and gross motor skill development for K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, COTAs, and families to create and carry out individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver therapy through in-person, home-based, and teletherapy sessions as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expertise on student accommodation and progress

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant school-based experience
  • Familiarity with home health, teletherapy, and healthcare OT practices
  • Experience working with both fine and gross motor skill development
  • Comfortable providing mentorship and guidance to COTAs when needed
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
