This engaging role provides coverage for a maternity leave beginning mid-August and extends for 12 weeks—with the possibility of continuing further. Located near Mooresville, IN, you’ll make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students, working collaboratively with a passionate educational team.

This part-time schedule offers 3.5 days per week (totaling 24.5 hours), allowing you to balance your professional goals with your personal life. You’ll step into a nurturing environment focused on student growth and well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with required state credentials
  • Experience working with students in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Proficiency in adapting therapeutic interventions to individual student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff
  • Ability to complete timely documentation and contribute to IEP planning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care routines integral to school participation
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in line with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to enhance student success within the classroom environment
