Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with required state credentials
- Experience working with students in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Proficiency in adapting therapeutic interventions to individual student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to complete timely documentation and contribute to IEP planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
- Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care routines integral to school participation
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in line with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers and families to enhance student success within the classroom environment
