Make a meaningful difference supporting students’ growth and success as a dedicated Occupational Therapist in a school setting. This part-time contract position offers the flexibility of working 2-3 days per week, providing tailored services to a manageable caseload of 30 students. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to create supportive, engaging learning environments that empower children to achieve their fullest potential.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Kentucky
  • Previous experience delivering OT services within an educational setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and school-based documentation
  • Ability to assess and address fine/gross motor, sensory, and self-care needs of school-aged children
  • Skilled communicator able to build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff
  • Organized, self-motivated, and flexible to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative services to address access, participation, and independence in school tasks
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for goals and accommodations
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support whole-child development and inclusive practices
  • Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families to promote carryover of strategies into daily routines
