Key Qualifications:
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
- Familiarity with assessment tools such as the BOT-3 (Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency) and Peabody Developmental Motor Scales.
- Demonstrated experience working with students who have mild to severe disabilities, including those with multiple diagnoses.
- Strong ability to interpret and use assessment data to address parent concerns and support recommendations for services.
- Willingness and ability to travel between multiple school sites throughout the week (itinerant position).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver therapy to students across a diverse caseload.
- Perform consultations and assessments that may fluctuate as district needs change—there is no cap on the caseload.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to maximize student outcomes.
- Maintain clear and responsive communication, particularly in translating complex data into actionable insights for families and staff.
- Independently organize your weekly itinerary to maximize efficiency and meet obligations across sites.
