Step into a dynamic school-based role designed for a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to foster meaningful growth in students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract opportunity spans from August 6, 2026, to February 12, 2027, with the possibility of extension through the academic year. You will provide direct onsite services across several school locations, supporting approximately 55 students and engaging daily with caring interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Previous experience attending and leading IEP meetings
- Familiarity with SEIS or similar educational documentation systems (preferred)
- Strong technology skills and comfort with electronic records and communication platforms
- Adaptable and resourceful in delivering services at various school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy aligned with IEP goals, promoting student access, participation, and independence in school routines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to build comprehensive support plans
- Actively participate in IEP meetings as an informed team member and advocate for student needs
- Maintain precise, timely documentation and service logs as required by district and state standards
- Travel between multiple locations within the assignment area as needed
