Make a meaningful difference in educational settings by supporting students’ success through therapeutic intervention. This contract opportunity involves providing occupational therapy services onsite to a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students ranging from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade across several school sites. The position is set to begin in early August 2026 and extends into February 2027, with the possibility to continue through the full academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapy licensure in California
- Demonstrated experience leading and participating in IEP meetings
- Proficiency in using SEIS for documentation (preferred)
- Strong comfort with technology and digital recordkeeping systems
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations as needed
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), focusing on fostering their participation and functional skill development within the educational environment
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to create and implement effective intervention plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations to support students’ unique needs
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate documentation and service tracking for each student’s progress and regulatory compliance
