What you’ll bring:
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active OT license in California
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations is preferred
- Ability to design and implement effective therapy plans tailored to diverse student needs
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Collaborative mindset to work alongside other educators and specialists
Your day-to-day role:
- Evaluate, develop, and deliver individualized therapy services to students
- Conduct assessments to establish appropriate recommendations and goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal standards
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Educate teachers and families about strategies to support students’ success in and beyond the classroom
