Desired Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP process and ability to write effective goals

  • Flexibility to adapt strategies based on individual student needs
  • Reliable organization, documentation, and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations for students across all grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that support students’ academic and functional success
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure a coordinated approach to student care
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing clinical expertise and recommendations
  • Document progress, maintain clear records, and adjust plans as needed
  • Provide training and consultation to educational staff to promote effective classroom modifications and supports
