Step into a vital role supporting elementary students through your expertise as a Certified Occupational Therapist. This full-time contract opportunity runs from ASAP through the end of the school year and focuses on making a real difference in the lives of young learners. You'll have the chance to work with a caseload of approximately 80 students across multiple elementary schools, helping them achieve academic and personal success.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Must hold current Occupational Therapist (OT) certification and licensure
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Skilled at developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Ability to organize and prioritize with strong communication skills
  • Collaborative approach when working with educators, families, and school staff
  • Adaptable and confident working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' fine and gross motor skills and address challenges impacting learning and participation
  • Design and execute targeted therapy interventions aligned with IEP goals
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress; update plans as needed
  • Consult regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive support
  • Travel between multiple elementary schools as part of your weekly schedule
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to school-based support planning
