Certified Licensed Occupational Therapist School Setting in Moreno Valley, CA

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a licensed Occupational Therapist on a contract basis. Beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the current school year, you'll play a vital role in fostering student growth across several elementary campus settings.

In this dynamic, full-time position, you’ll manage a caseload of approximately 80 students, providing high-quality, individualized therapy to help each child achieve their academic and developmental goals. Qualifications:

• Active and valid Occupational Therapist license (OT)
• Certification to practice Occupational Therapy
• Experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting, preferably elementary level
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective treatment plans
• Strong organizational skills and confidence in managing a larger, diverse caseload
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, develop, and implement treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Travel between multiple elementary campuses as needed within the district
• Maintain thorough records and progress notes as required by school and state guidelines
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
• Assist with IEP meetings, providing recommendations and updates on student progress
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that empowers student independence and achievement
