This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity working with a caseload of approximately 80 students across multiple elementary campuses. With an immediate start and a likely conclusion at the end of the school year, you’ll step into a role where your skills are valued and your impact is tangible. A full-time COTA will be available to help you deliver therapeutic interventions and support your day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) required
  • Certification as an OT
  • Experience supporting elementary-aged children, preferably in a school environment
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to students’ individual needs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfort working onsite and traveling between multiple school locations as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary school students
  • Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to IEP planning and documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize students’ participation and success in the classroom setting
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to the COTA, ensuring coordinated and effective service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records of services rendered, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Engage as a resource for faculty and families regarding best practices and strategies for supporting students’ developmental goals
