Elementary Licensed Occupational Therapist School Setting in Moreno Valley, CA

Make a meaningful impact working directly with elementary students in a supportive educational setting. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and is expected to continue through the end of the school year, with flexible duration to be determined. You'll play a key role in meeting the needs of approximately 80 students, collaborating closely with a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and school staff. This position involves travel between multiple elementary school sites, providing a dynamic and rewarding experience where every day brings new opportunities to facilitate growth and learning.

Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license, certified for practice in California
• Prior experience in elementary school settings strongly preferred
• Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 80 students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Dedication to fostering student progress and adapting therapeutic interventions

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students to determine occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educational teams
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students with diverse needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and document interventions
• Provide training and guidance to teachers, staff, and families as needed
• Travel among assigned elementary schools within the district
• Work closely with the full-time COTA for effective program delivery
