This full-time role is ideal for a dedicated, certified professional eager to make a difference in the lives of students while collaborating with a supportive team. You will be working with approximately 80 students across multiple elementary school sites, with the added advantage of daily support from a full-time COTA. Your expertise and guidance will help shape accessible learning environments and foster student growth.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license and certification required
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Comfortable managing an elementary school caseload
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to provide effective interventions for diverse student needs
- Ready to work onsite only, across multiple elementary schools
- Available to start ASAP and committed through the end of the school year
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative spirit
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create intervention plans tailored for elementary students
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain records meeting all school and regulatory requirements
- Work alongside a COTA for efficient caseload management and program development
- Monitor, assess, and adjust interventions to maximize student engagement and achievement
