Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current California Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt and prioritize in dynamic environments
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between school locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students as outlined by IEP goals
• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized interventions to enhance participation, access, and functional skills
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and specialists to tailor strategies and accommodations
• Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy in both individual and group settings
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a part of the multidisciplinary team
• Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current on best practices

This full-time position offers 40 hours per week and competitive hourly compensation ranging from $55 to $65, depending on experience.
