Occupational Therapist School Setting in Moreno Valley, CA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current California licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse school staff, students, and families
• Effective time management and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized therapy plans for students
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver services aligned with students’ IEPs
• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive strategies
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes in accordance with school guidelines and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for student achievement
• Educate school personnel and families on strategies and accommodations to enhance student participation in the academic environment
