An exciting short-term opportunity is available for two Occupational Therapists to provide comprehensive OT services within a school setting in Morgan Hill, CA. These full-time positions are contract-based, starting in late January, and span approximately nine weeks to cover a district Occupational Therapist’s maternity leave. Therapists will be on-site only, serving multiple schools and grade levels including preschool, elementary, middle, K-8, and high school campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ developmental needs.
- Support students across diverse age groups by providing therapy at assigned school sites.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance student success.
- Maintain documentation and comply with district and state regulations for special education services.
- Serve multiple locations, adapting therapy approaches to meet the unique requirements of each site.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites efficiently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to providing student-centered therapy services on-site.
Locations and Schedule:
- Assignment serves four sites: 2 preschool/elementary and 2 middle schools.
- Another assignment serves 3 sites: 1 elementary, 1 K-8, and 1 high school.
- Full-time hours, on-site only.
- Short-term assignment from late January through end of school year, with potential to extend into the 2026/2027 school year.
