Occupational Therapist School Setting in Morgan Hill, CA

An exciting short-term opportunity is available for two Occupational Therapists to provide comprehensive OT services within a school setting in Morgan Hill, CA. These full-time positions are contract-based, starting in late January, and span approximately nine weeks to cover a district Occupational Therapist’s maternity leave. Therapists will be on-site only, serving multiple schools and grade levels including preschool, elementary, middle, K-8, and high school campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ developmental needs.
• Support students across diverse age groups by providing therapy at assigned school sites.
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance student success.
• Maintain documentation and comply with district and state regulations for special education services.
• Serve multiple locations, adapting therapy approaches to meet the unique requirements of each site.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred.
• Ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites efficiently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to providing student-centered therapy services on-site.

Locations and Schedule:

• Assignment serves four sites: 2 preschool/elementary and 2 middle schools.
• Another assignment serves 3 sites: 1 elementary, 1 K-8, and 1 high school.
• Full-time hours, on-site only.
• Short-term assignment from late January through end of school year, with potential to extend into the 2026/2027 school year.
