A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed on a contract basis to collaborate with dedicated educators and families. Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current, valid OT license for California
  • Prior experience (clinical or educational setting) working with school-age children, preferably across various grade levels
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
  • Effective communicator—able to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Cheerful, adaptable, and committed to inclusion and student growth

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students in individual and group settings
  • Assess students using both standardized and informal tools; interpret results and develop appropriate therapy goals
  • Support students in accessing their curriculum through tailored interventions
  • Collaborate in the development, implementation, and review of IEPs
  • Offer practical strategies and resources to staff and families to encourage progress and independence
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with all relevant guidelines
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
