Shape meaningful educational experiences while supporting students’ growth as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school setting near Moriarty, NM. This part-time contract opportunity offers 20-25 hours per week, working with a diverse caseload of K-12th grade students in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, ensuring their progress toward educational and developmental goals.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocating for student needs.
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, school team members, administration, and families to coordinate effective support strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current New Mexico Occupational Therapist license.
  • New Mexico Occupational Therapist PED certification.
  • Experience delivering occupational therapy in a school setting (preferred).
  • Familiarity with K-12 student populations and ability to adapt approaches for varying ages and needs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

In this position, you will be compensated between $38 and $45 per hour, depending on your experience.
