Occupational Therapist School Setting - Mount Lemmon, AZ

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Prior experience delivering OT services in school environments preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with providing services for K-12 age groups
• Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive OT assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in alignment with educational goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, parents, and other school staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings and reports
• Support students in acquiring the skills needed to access and participate in the academic environment
• Promote a positive and inclusive school atmosphere through targeted interventions
