Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with IEP development, goal setting, and progress tracking
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine needs in fine motor, sensory integration, self-help, and adaptive functioning
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within classroom and pull-out settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to optimize student support
- Maintain clear records and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
- Provide resources, training, and support for school staff and families as needed
