Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Prior experience in a school environment or with pediatric caseloads preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 populations, adapting support to diverse developmental needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to create customized intervention plans and work well within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement evidence-based interventions
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in line with district and legal requirements
- Support students in overcoming barriers to academic participation and daily school activities
- Attend and actively contribute to IEP meetings, sharing insights and progress updates
