In this role, you’ll deliver occupational therapy services to school-aged children to help them succeed academically and socially. This assignment requires 25 days of service to be completed, either by working full-time for five consecutive weeks or by providing support two days per week through the end of the school year. Compensation for this position ranges from $55 to $65 per hour.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current California licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational environments
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Dedication to supporting student independence and engagement in learning activities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Evaluate students’ needs through assessments and observations
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Consult with educational staff and families to support carryover of skills in classroom and home environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
