Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Previous experience in school settings desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads and prioritize needs
  • Skilled at collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficient in IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, direct interventions, and consultations to support student success
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals and IEP requirements
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy into the school day
  • Document therapy sessions, assess progress, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Serve as a resource for best practices in occupational therapy within the school community
