Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Illinois
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong ability to consult and collaborate with educators, staff, and families
- Skilled in providing direct services related to fine motor and sensory support
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Role Highlights:
- Provide consultative services and some direct interventions for approximately 25 students in one intermediate building
- Focused caseload: work mainly with students needing fine motor or sensory support
- Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to develop effective strategies for student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP processes as needed
- Flexible scheduling: work 2 full days or distribute hours over 3 days per week (within 8:05 am − 2:45 pm)
- Assignment runs from September 8, 2026, through June 16, 2027
