Qualifications & Experience

• Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in Tennessee
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members
• Strong problem-solving and organization skills
• Understanding of IEP development and documentation processes
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and abilities
• Develop and implement targeted interventions and therapy plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s IEP
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and strategies
• Attend meetings and contribute expertise within the educational setting
