Occupational Therapist School Setting in Murrieta, CA

You’ll be instrumental in promoting student independence and functional development while serving as a valued collaborator within multidisciplinary teams.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license required
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process and ability to document progress toward goals
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as assigned

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students with varying needs
• Assess, plan, and document services tailored to each student's IEP
• Support students’ development in fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and related service providers to optimize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goals-setting and progress monitoring
• Maintain detailed records and communicate progress effectively
• Offer creative solutions to facilitate student participation and access to the curriculum

This position is full-time, offering a 40-hour workweek and competitive compensation of $55-$65 per hour.
