In this school-based setting, you’ll provide services to a manageable caseload of approximately 48 students, focusing on both fine motor skills and a significant number of sensory needs.

What You Bring:

• Active Occupational Therapist license for South Carolina
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is highly desired
• Strong understanding of sensory integration and fine motor skill development
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, aides, families, and other service providers
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and state/federal guidelines

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals and plans
• Conduct assessments and evaluate students’ functional abilities related to fine motor and sensory processing
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to support academic and daily living success
• Consult and collaborate with other school staff and family members to ensure alignment of therapeutic goals
• Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations, assistive devices, and environmental modifications
• Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and participate in team conferences as required
