Your role will encompass working closely with families and children, contributing to a multidisciplinary team, and implementing individualized treatment plans that foster progress in daily living skills, sensory-motor functions, and school readiness.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Prior experience in school-based or early intervention settings is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable delivering services in home environments and adapting to diverse family needs.
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to travel within Douglas County as required.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify children’s needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
- Deliver occupational therapy services within homes and community settings, focusing on early childhood populations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support children’s participation and success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance standards.
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed for maximum growth.
