School Occupational Therapist - Naperville, Illinois

This is a full-time, contract assignment based in a vibrant educational environment near Naperville, IL, with a welcoming and collaborative team dedicated to student well-being and success.

Your expertise will serve a diverse elementary school student population, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy modalities. As an OT, you’ll be a valuable part of the school's interdisciplinary support system, helping students achieve their highest potential in daily living, academic participation, and functional skills.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Current and active Occupational Therapist license
• Eligible for Occupational Therapy licensure in Illinois (candidates can apply while in process)
• Experience in school-based, home health, or teletherapy occupational therapy settings preferred
• Strong commitment to supporting students with varied needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver Occupational Therapy services to students, primarily at the elementary school level
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for student success
• Document progress, manage caseload, and participate in IEP meetings
• Use innovative and evidence-based interventions in individual and group settings
• Utilize flexible service delivery, including in-person and remote/virtual methods as needed
