Key qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Occupational Therapist license
  • Eligibility for Illinois state OT licensure
  • Experience in school settings, healthcare, teletherapy, or home health environments preferred
  • Strong communication skills with an enthusiastic approach to teamwork
  • Willingness to obtain necessary licensure before assignment start date; candidates close to completion are welcome to apply

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and virtual occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ functional abilities at school
  • Document all sessions, progress, and correspondence accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and allied professionals to ensure student growth and achievement
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student planning
