Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois
- Experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings is highly preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Familiarity with IEP process and relevant state/federal regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Adaptable and organized working style to thrive in a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop individualized intervention plans that align with students’ educational goals
- Provide direct therapy—both group and individual—to address fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP development and reviews
- Communicate progress and strategies to classroom staff and caregivers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
