Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Illinois
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and related documentation
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver targeted therapy services to help students improve functional abilities, sensory processing, fine/gross motor skills, and adaptive strategies
- Collaborate with special education teachers, school counselors, and other support staff to ensure cohesive support for students
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate session notes, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with local and federal guidelines
- Provide consultation and training to teachers and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies across school environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a knowledgeable advocate for student needs
