Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Illinois
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and related documentation
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver targeted therapy services to help students improve functional abilities, sensory processing, fine/gross motor skills, and adaptive strategies
• Collaborate with special education teachers, school counselors, and other support staff to ensure cohesive support for students
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate session notes, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with local and federal guidelines
• Provide consultation and training to teachers and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies across school environments
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a knowledgeable advocate for student needs
