Occupational Therapist School Setting in Naperville, IL

Step into a dynamic school-based setting supporting students’ growth with your Occupational Therapy expertise. This contract opportunity is based near Naperville, IL, and offers an engaging, collaborative environment where your skills truly make a difference. The position is in-person, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 to 40 hours following a consistent daily schedule from 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM. Services are needed from now through May 28th, 2027.

You’ll work closely with the early childhood diagnostic team, evaluating students to determine their therapeutic needs and contributing to the development of customized intervention plans. Begin the year with a caseload of approximately 30 students, with the potential for growth as more students are evaluated and added to the program.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois
• Recent experience with school-based OT or similar pediatric settings
• Familiarity with assessment tools and procedures for early childhood populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and evolving student needs
• Commitment to maintaining compliance with service documentation and state guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students
• Participate in assessments and evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting student goals
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
