Position 1: Provide full-time coverage for two separate non-concurrent leaves across elementary campuses. This role is based in a supportive district with engaging colleagues and consistent daytime hours — ideal for a school-year schedule.

Position 2: Take on a full-time maternity leave assignment in an elementary setting from October through April. You will play a vital role in students’ daily learning and development, collaborating with educators and support teams.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in Illinois (required)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills for partnerships with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to adapt interventions to diverse learning needs
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and positive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments, develop and implement IEP goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-age students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ development
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide consultative and push-in support as needed for classroom activities
