Make an impact in the lives of K-12 students as a contract Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This role spans from September 1 to June 15, offering a consistent schedule of approximately 30 hours per week over four days. Hours run from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, giving you evenings and an extra weekday for added flexibility. You will support a diverse student caseload, collaborating with educators and families to ensure students’ success in the school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current New Hampshire state OT license
  • Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 school populations
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and school-based documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services tailored to each student’s needs
  • Work closely with teachers, special educators, and parents to facilitate classroom participation
  • Track student progress and document therapy sessions in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Make recommendations for classroom adaptations, equipment, or sensory strategies
