What we’re seeking:

  • Valid Nevada State Occupational Therapist License (required)
  • Experience with teletherapy, fine motor, and gross motor skill development
  • Ability to work effectively with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) in a school setting
  • Prior experience in a school environment is a plus, but candidates with solid OT foundations and a readiness to learn are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, students, and their families
  • Commitment to fostering student independence and success within the classroom setting

Key responsibilities:

  • Assessing and supporting students’ motor skills and functional performance within the school environment
  • Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators and support staff
  • Providing both on-site and virtual (teletherapy) occupational therapy services when needed
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, goals, and progress
  • Assisting with IEP meetings and progress reporting, ensuring student needs are met in compliance with law and best practice
  • Supporting and guiding COTAs assigned to students on your caseload
