School Occupational Therapist - Neodesha, Kansas

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Kansas (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Previous experience as a school-based OT, or with OT in home health or healthcare preferred

• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
• Commitment to supporting a diverse student population and individual education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ therapy needs
• Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Use evidence-based practices to support students’ participation in school activities and daily living skills
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
