Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist license valid in the state of Kansas
• Experience in school-based, home health, or general healthcare OT preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, therapeutic interventions, and assistive technology for students
• Ability to adapt to various learning environments and tailor interventions to individual needs
• Skilled in effective communication with students, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to professional growth and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ abilities and develop individualized intervention plans supporting educational goals
• Deliver occupational therapy services both directly and through consultation
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure cohesive student support
• Document student progress, update goals, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications for classroom success
• Travel between school buildings or student homes as needed within the area
