Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in an extended school year program. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative school environment, providing occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 26 students. All therapy sessions are scheduled for 30 minutes and students can participate in grouped sessions.
The role begins July 6th and finishes August 6th, with a schedule of two days per week from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Enjoy flexible weekday scheduling between Monday and Thursday. Your day will include dedicated planning and prep time: arrive 15 minutes prior to your first session and end your day with an additional 15 minutes, ensuring you’re always prepared and have a smooth transition. All students come to you with materials prepared by their school-year OTs, streamlining your daily workflow.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license for MA
- Experience delivering OT services in a school setting
- Ability to work comfortably across K–12 grade levels
- Skilled at collaborating with educators and families
- Organized, flexible, and proactive in managing a caseload
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy sessions (individually or in groups) for K–12 students
- Implement ESY-appropriate, prepared therapies and activities
- Document progress and maintain ongoing communication with school staff
- Participate in planning/prep time to review materials and strategies
- Foster a supportive and inclusive therapy environment for all students
