An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide leave coverage support in a dynamic educational setting near New Britain, CT. This assignment runs ASAP through February 9, 2027, offering a stable, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. You will make a significant impact district-wide, traveling between multiple school sites and working directly with students to help them reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active CT Occupational Therapist (OT) License required
- Previous experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload across different schools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
- Comfortable adapting to varied student needs and environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions for students with diverse needs across multiple campuses
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support educational goals
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure a coordinated approach to student care
- Maintain precise, timely documentation and progress reports as required by school protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for student growth planning
- Provide onsite support and education to staff as needed
