Occupational Therapist School Setting - New Castle, CO

Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Teaching License (CDE) required
• Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) endorsement
• Experience delivering occupational therapy in a school-based setting, specifically with K-12 students, strongly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently within a multidisciplinary team

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized OT plans to address students’ physical, sensory, or motor skill challenges that impact access to education
• Provide targeted therapy sessions for students, both one-on-one and in small groups
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines
• Track student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed to ensure goals are being met
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary support network for students
