A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to support summer school programming in New Castle, DE. This role involves providing occupational therapy services within a school setting, focusing on students' developmental and educational needs during the summer session.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions aligned with student IEPs.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapeutic goals into classroom activities.
- Document progress and communicate effectively with families and school personnel.
- Participate in orientation and setup before the summer session begins.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Delaware.
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy programs.
- Familiarity with home health and healthcare settings is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
Contract Details:
- Location: New Castle, Delaware.
- Summer school dates: July 7, 2026, to August 6, 2026.
- Orientation and setup on July 6, 2026.
- Work schedule: Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
