Make a meaningful difference for students in Delaware by providing vital occupational therapy services in a dynamic educational setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This rewarding contract opportunity offers three onsite positions supporting a range of age groups. Serve as a valued resource fostering student success, skill-building, and independence.

Opportunities are available in the following school sites:

  • Lancashire and Maple Lane Elementary Schools (split caseload)
  • Mount Pleasant Elementary
  • Middle and High School (split caseload)

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Delaware Occupational Therapist license required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills with educators and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with IEPs and student documentation in an educational environment
  • Ability to work independently and across multiple school sites as needed
  • Must provide updated resume for consideration
  • Applicants must complete $85 CBC fingerprinting at personal expense and must confirm acknowledgment and consent prior to submission
  • Open only to OTs; applications from COTAs cannot be accepted for these positions

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments, direct interventions, and consultative services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with special education teams
  • Maintain detailed and compliant student records, progress reports, and IEP documentation
  • Support students in acquiring fine motor, adaptive, and self-care skills necessary for classroom participation
  • Engage with families and school staff to ensure comprehensive care for each student
