Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in Delaware
• Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized OT treatment plans
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Collaboration and consultation abilities with teachers, families, and other school staff

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students referred for OT services
• Develop goals and treatment plans that support students’ educational needs
• Implement therapeutic interventions to address fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Work as part of an IEP team, contribute expertise for student planning
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Consult with teachers and staff to adapt and modify classroom environments
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
