Qualifications and Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility) for the state
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to document therapy progress
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students from diverse backgrounds
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to integrate OT goals into daily routines
• Support students in fine motor, sensory, and self-care skill development
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and Medicaid billing as applicable
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for student supports
